Ein visuelles Highlight im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes sind die beleuchteten Modulationsräder, die je nach Intensität des Modulationssignals heller leuchten. Nie wieder modulierte Sounds auf der dunklen Bühne, wo keine sein sollen! Auch die Oktav-Verstimmungsknöpfe der Oszillatoren leuchten umso heller, je mehr nach oben oder unten verstimmt wird. Die Bezeichnung „Presetbank“ gehört der Vergangenheit an.
Green Box: Creamware Noah, VA-Multisynthesizer
Ein paar Worte zu SCOPE, CREAMWARE, ASB und SONIC CORE … Der Creamware Noah erschien 2003 am Markt und war seiner Zeit voraus. Wahrscheinlich, möchte man meinen, zu weit. Anders als viele seiner Wettbewerber, war der Noah nämlich kein kein festverdrahteter oder programmierter Hardware-Synthesizer, sondern ein mit Shark-DSPs ausgestatteter Musikcomputer. CREAMWARE, eine deutsche Synthesizer-Schmiede, die es in dieser Form heute nicht mehr gibt, sind ursprünglich bekannt geworden durch SCOPE.
Green Box: Hartmann Neuron, Digital-Synthesizer
Vorwort Als im April 2003 der HARTMANN NEURON auf den Markt kam, konnte niemand ahnen, welch kurze Lebensdauer die Firma Hartmann haben würde. Somit hat der NEURON VS es deutlich schneller in unsere Vintage-Serie GREEN BOX geschafft als all anderen Synthesizer in dieser Kategorie. Ein digitaler Oldie, der heute ein teils umstrittener und selten zu findender Klangerzeuger ist. Allerdings liegt heute ein gebrauchter Hartmann Neuron ca. 2.000 Euro unter seinem damaligen Neupreis.
