Be someone who realizes the importance of “Who,” “What,” “When,” “Where,” and “Why.” to the audience.

Why did you become a journalist?
As a child I read thousands of books. A book a day my mother would say. I wanted to be like the authors I adored
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
First a writer and then an Editor. That's when I became most hated. :o)
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Good question. I think it was an article about how cheap Chinese goods helped poor people in South East Asia who could not afford brands.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Learn to take notes and then learn to read your own writing.
