Interview
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yep.
What's your favorite social network?
I've never been on Facebook — gasp, I know! — so perhaps Twitter, though it has its shortcomings.
Why did you become a journalist?
For the writing, for the chance to talk to fascinating strangers, and for the hope of a slightly more just world. You know, the usual.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
One on the world record holder for building sculptures out of cheese.
What's your favorite drink?
Definitely watermelon seltzer.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Taking a long walk in the city. As a native New Yorker, I'm constantly delighted by the fact that there are always new places to explore.
