1. Introduction Neuroblastoma is a pediatric cancer of the sympathetic nervous system that is frequently found to express high levels of the disialoganglioside GD2 [1]. As a disialoganglioside, GD2 includes a fatty acid core, two sialic acid residues, and three monosaccharides [2]. GD2 was formerly thought to be present on all neuroblastomas, and, as such, was used as a target for anti-neuroblastoma therapy.
