What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job was as the food and business development reporter for The Star Press in Muncie, Indiana.

Robin Scherbatsky

Why did you become a journalist?

Pursuit of the truth.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was a sports reporter for my school paper throughout my time in high school. I also worked on a few stories on the news side.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write. Then write it over. Again, and again, and again.

What's your favorite drink?

I like lighter beers with as little hops as possible; preferably wheats.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Out working on a story in the field.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

My go-to newspapers are USA Today, Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
