Deploy Runway’s video models in dedicated environments on Baseten
Runway builds models that generate and edit cinematic video using text, images, audio, and existing footage. Runway’s frontier video generation and editing models, Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0, are now available directly through Baseten. Runway’s video models Gen-4.5 turns text and image inputs into video, with support for detailed scene direction, camera movement, and a range of visual styles.
Do you understand this billboard? If not, that's the whole point
Billboards in San Francisco used to be easy to understand, whether advertising Coca-Cola, Toyotas, iPhones or AirBnB. But these days, that's often not the case. Ads bearing slogans like "Agents don't work without evals," "Too much B2B SAAS," and "Intelligent AF" have sprung up across the city over the past couple of years, in a bid to grab attention by AI startups flush with venture capital cash.
Baseten brings AI video to life on Nebius
Text-to-video is not a simple extension of another modality. It's a complex workload that runs longer, stresses memory, and can create scaling challenges due to large requests demanding up to an entire node. Users notice slight shifts in latency and quality. The only way to meet that bar in production is to treat performance, reliability, and cost as one system.

Announcing Baseten’s $75M Series C
We founded Baseten in 2019 to help builders bring the power of AI into every product. We believed AI was the next big thing back then, but deploying models into production was a massive challenge due to the lack of the right tooling. My co-founders and I experienced that pain firsthand throughout our careers. That’s why we set out to build the inference infrastructure, workflows, and tools necessary to bring AI to life at scale.
Export your model inference metrics to your favorite observability tool
Today, we’re excited to announce our new export metrics integration, which lets you export model inference metrics like response time, replica count, and hardware utilization to a long list of observability platforms including Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, and Prometheus.
Baseten partners with Google Cloud to deliver high-performance AI infrastructure to a broader audience
We're excited to announce our availability on the Google Cloud Marketplace, a significant step in our mission to empower organizations with the tools they need to build and scale AI applications effortlessly. This partnership enables Google Cloud customers to access Baseten’s robust AI infrastructure platform with just a few clicks, making it easier than ever to deploy, manage, and optimize AI models in their existing cloud environments.
Introducing Baseten Hybrid: control and flexibility in your cloud and ours
We’re excited to introduce early access to Baseten Hybrid, a multi-cloud solution that enables you to run inference in your cloud—with optional spillover into ours. We’ve seen it time and again: AI builders want to self-host some of their workloads for compliance reasons, but when traffic picks up, they need access to additional compute.
Introducing Baseten Chains
Today, we're excited to announce the beta release of Chains, a framework and SDK designed to simplify the creation and deployment of compound AI systems featuring multiple models and components. We’re committed to continuously evolving our platform to deliver the best performance, reliability, and efficiency for the sophisticated AI products our customers build. Chains represents a giant leap forward in that commitment, to enhancing the performance and efficiency of AI infrastructure.
What a Woman Is
So, you aren't a kid anymore, eh? You're growing and changing in ways you didn't expect. Hormones are kicking in, and the conversations in the locker room have started heading in a different direction. There's suddenly a lot of pressure to appeal to the opposite sex. I bet you didn't see that coming. From a very young age, boys are led to believe that a real man needs to be with as many women as possible. It almost becomes a goal for some.
Trick-or-Treat
Halloween and my inner conflict around Hallmark Holidays. It's Halloween once again, and there's a buzz in the air as preparations are made for this year's trick-or-treating adventures. Parents frantically rush to put the finishing touches on vampires, witches, sports heroes and more. Children bubble with excitement at the thought of showing off their costumes.
Selecting the Best in Enterprise Microservices and API Management
Moderated by William McKnight With organizations increasingly adopting microservices, practitioners must be prepared to manage an ever-increasing multitude of services and APIs. Making matters more challenging, organizations and development teams within them vary widely in the protocols, methods, authorization, authentication, and usage patterns that they use in critical production services.
