#1 This will probably create positive and negative answers and I'm prepared for that but I need a bit of advice on choices for a different career I'm 67 so drawing a pension but also work 4 days a week as an IT data analyst. I've been blessed in life that I've never been out of work and had many interesting jobs from software development to sales to product management.
#1 Hi folks, First post so go easy on me please. The conclusion of several months research suggests I am not really going to be getting a better plasma than a Pioneer. I have been looking at the 42" HD ready and the newer 50" such as the LX5090. Either will fit in the space I have which is above a fireplace on an end wall. It would be mounted through plasterboard onto breeze block and brick outside wall.
Done a search and can’t find what I’m looking for. I’m resurrecting a home recording set up after a gap. Only 4 bits of kit. At the centre will be an M4 iPad Pro. Audio input via a dynamic and condenser mike will be via a Focusrite 2i2 and Midi control (and perhaps some keyboards) will come from a Novation Launchkey Mini 25 or a new 4th gen of same. Outputting to monitors or headphones as needed. iPad Pro will be connected to the Focusrite via USB-C to USB-C.
