Knicks return, Heat signing on the table for Jordan Clarkson
NEW YORK, United States — Jordan Clarkson made history this month by becoming the first NBA player of Filipino heritage to win a championship. Now, the veteran guard finds himself at another crossroads. Fresh off helping the New York Knicks end a 53-year title drought, Clarkson enters free agency weighing a return to the defending champions against the possibility of a fresh start elsewhere. One intriguing option has already emerged.
Knicks, New Yorkers get great Garden moment after comeback for the ages
NEW YORK — Strangers were hugging. Fans were high-fiving. Taylor Swift was dancing. Timothée Chalamet was screaming. For one unforgettable night, Madison Square Garden felt less like a basketball arena and more like the heartbeat of a city that had waited generations for a moment like this. The New York Knicks had just authored the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. And the player at the center of it all had arrived for work more than three hours before tipoff.
Knicks’in Masalsı Hikâyesi Madison Square Garden’da Sarsıldı
New York Knicks, NBA Finalleri’nin üçüncü maçında San Antonio Spurs’e 115-111 mağlup olarak seride durumu 2-1’e getirdi ve şampiyonluk yolunda ilk yenilgisini aldı. Maç öncesi Knicks oyuncularından Mikal Bridges, takım arkadaşlarına “umutsuz” kalmaları gerektiğini söylemiş, başantrenör Mike Brown da Spurs’ün oynadığı umutsuzluk seviyesini yakalamaya çalıştıklarını belirtmişti.

It's coming to PS5 in Spring 2027, and the full reveal takes place later this week during the Summer Game Fest show.

Ex-Forza Horizon Devs Poised to Reveal New PS5 Racer Prior to Sony's State of Play | Push Square
While we all wait patiently for Forza Horizon 6 on the PS5, we may have another racer to look forward to. A studio comprised of ex-Playground devs, Maverick Games, has posted a countdown on its official YouTube page, ticking down to 2nd June. The timer is set to expire at 6AM EDT / 11AM BST that morning, approximately 12 hours before Sony’s own State of Play. Is that a coincidence? We’ll find out. Unsurprisingly given its background, Maverick Games is working on an open world racing game.
Knicks reestablish identity with series-leading Game 5 win vs Hawks
NEW YORK, United States — For a couple of games, the New York Knicks faced renewed questions about their legitimacy as contenders. Over the last two, they have provided a clear answer with two decisive victories that restored their identity.

Mike Brown, Knicks commit generous move to team staffers after NBA Cup win

The Knicks head into Tuesday's final at the T-Mobile Center brimming with confidence after polishing off Eastern Conference top seeds Orlando with ease in Saturday's semifinals.

MIKE BROWN: How England’s Felix Jones-inspired blitz defence could be key to winning against Scotland by shutting down Finn Russell and co in Edinburgh
I’ve been speaking to my Leicester team-mate Handre Pollard, who has won the last two World Cups with South Africa, about the Felix Jones-inspired blitz defence now being used by England. Jones was a key part of the Springbok set-up which claimed global glory in 2019 and 2023. Although doing the attack with them, the South African-style defence he is trying to implement clearly works. Handre told me a blitz defence is hard to master and it took South Africa time to do so.

MIKE BROWN: Make Ellis Genge captain and England can WIN the Rugby World Cup in 2027… there is so much talent, they just need the right systems and playing style | Express Digest
England can be serious challengers for the World Cup in 2027. 100 per cent. The talent is there. I see it in the Premiership every week. They just need to put the right systems and playing style in place to step up. I’ve loved the backs-to-the-wall fight the team have shown but I think it’s time for a bit of a refresh. The quick-fix pragmatism that Steve Borthwick introduced for this World Cup served them well but now the coaches have a four-year cycle to really build.

Marcus Smith is a talent but not for big games at No 15
It is not easy to move from No10 to full-back. Loads of players have tried to switch and failed. It’s all well and good saying Marcus Smith has played well there in training, but that’s so different to the realities of a Test match. Marcus is exceptionally talented. But he had no experience at full-back before the Chile game. For his first start there, I thought he did well. He looked great in unstructured situations, using his speed off the mark to beat players.

MIKE BROWN: Just because Owen Farrell is captain he doesn't have a divine right to be in the team when he returns from his ban; George Ford should be rewarded for consistency | Express Digest
We were having a good laugh with my Leicester team-mate Handre Pollard after our match against Sale on Friday night. It looks like he’ll go from warming the bench in the Premiership Cup to playing for the Springboks at the World Cup. The boys were asking him if he’s got his flight booked to France, and whether he’s been practising his lineout throwing for when they call him up as an injury replacement for Malcolm Marx.

MIKE BROWN: England's players are not buying into Steve Borthwick's plan. They look miserable on the pitch… But they can embrace they are underdogs for the Rugby World Cup and say 'stuff it, let's go for it' in France | Express Digest
If we had our chance again at the 2015 World Cup I wish our playing group had taken more ownership and addressed things with the coaches when we felt things weren’t quite right. We knew things with the preparation weren’t going well but nothing was said. I wish we had because we got to the World Cup and it came back to bite us. Looking at this England team, it strikes me that the players are not fully buying into the game plan that the coaches are giving them.

MIKE BROWN: Missing Out On World Cups Can Be Devastating - I Was In Tears In 2019 » WhatsNew2Day
Waiting to find out if you’ve been selected for the World Cup is a horrible experience. I had good news in 2015 and bad news in 2019 and I hated every second of it. You want to do what’s best for the team, but at the same time you want to push yourself. Hanging up on Eddie Jones four years ago after he told me he wasn’t going to Japan was one of the most difficult moments of my career.

Next weekend’s duel between George Ford and Owen Farrell is as close as we will get to a trial for England’s No 10 jersey at the World Cup. It deserves its billing as a headline match-up because how well they play determines how well their team plays. They have such a big impact on everyone around them. The way Ford has returned from injury is bad news for Marcus Smith because he has probably slipped down to third in the pecking order.

Central contracts for England players would ease burden on clubs – Mike Brown
Ollie Hassell-Collins has also agreed to join the Tigers next season but to underline the difficulty facing the Gallagher Premiership, Anthony Watson is considering leaving the east Midlands for the Top 14. The greater financial rewards available in France have already seen several current red rose internationals such as Sam Simmonds, Joe Marchant and David Ribbans agree to head across The Channel after the World Cup and the fear is that more could follow.

I exchanged a few messages with Marcus Smith last week, checking in with him because I know how it feels when selection doesn’t go your way. He’s an ultra-competitive guy and he wants to be starting for England, but the reality is that he’s probably going to have to get used to a role on the bench for now. With the journey England are on at the moment, Owen Farrell and George Ford are better suited to the style of play.

I watched Duhan van der Merwe’s try again a few times on my journey home from Twickenham on Saturday night. What an unbelievable score. He deserves all the praise that will go his way, but the defence was simply not good enough. Kevin Sinfield will be having some harsh words with his new England players in the review meeting. The defence was way off throughout. There were a too many gaps and players going out of the system, compounded by poor tackle technique.

It was also a bid to increase the number of viewers - Ceefax was losing viewers to ITV's 'Teletext' service which was now drawing 17 million viewers a week compared to 13 million for the BBC service.

Film Breakdown: There is a fluidity to the Kings offense Original
Following the Sacramento Kings victory over the Detroit Pistons head coach Mike Brown spoke about how well the offense is working right now. This is all true and something we are basically watching play out on a game-to-game basis. We are all old enough to remember the days of constant dribbling, angry glares and confusion. But here we are: The Kings are 5th in assists at 27.1 per game and 2nd in points at 117.8 per game. Let’s take a look at some of this in motion from the road trip.
