Multi-physical pretreatments combined with hot-air drying affect pesticide residues and quality of jasmine tea
Abstract Conventional hot-air drying (HDT) can hardly degrade pesticide residues in jasmine tea effectively, and chemical methods tend to cause secondary pollution, which seriously endangers human health and restricts the sustainable development of the tea industry.
The impact of early enteral nutrition on 28-day mortality in septic shock: a cohort study
Abstract Background: Enteral nutrition (EN) in septic shock patients is a double-edged sword. The impact of early enteral nutrition (EEN) on mortality in septic shock patients remains uncertain, and whether this association is modified by vasopressor dosage is also unclear.
CYP4X1/sEH‐Dependent Endocannabinoid Metabolism Drives Fibroblast‐Mediated Immunosuppression to Limit Immunotherapy in Colon Cancer
1 Introduction Colon cancer ranks third among the most frequently diagnosed cancers worldwide.[1] The treatment of colon cancer has been revolutionized by the introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs).[2] However, the clinical use of ICIs therapy in colon cancer remains highly limited since only a select subset of patients are responsive.[2] One reason for the low response rate is that tumors establish a highly immunosuppressive microenvironment to evade immune surveillance.[2]...
Design, synthesis and bioevaluation of novel trifluoromethylquinoline derivatives as tubulin polymerization inhibitors
Aim: A series of novel trifluoromethylquinoline derivatives were designed, synthesized and evaluated for antitumor activities. Methodology: All compounds were evaluated for antiproliferative activity against four human cancer cell lines. Results: Among them, 5a, 5m, 5o and 6b exhibited remarkable antiproliferative activities against all the tested cell lines at nanomolar concentrations.

A Novel Quinazoline Derivative Prevents and Treats Arsenic-Induced Liver Injury by Regulating the Expression of RecQ Family Helicase
1. Introduction Arsenic is a highly toxic metalloid element, widely distributed in both inorganic and organic forms in soil, water, air, plants, and microorganisms in nature [1]. Therefore, arsenic easily enters human and animal bodies through food, water, and industrial pollutants [2]. Epidemiological studies have shown that the liver is one of the important target organs for arsenic toxicity [3], and chronic arsenic exposure can lead to liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer [4,5].

Sleep duration is associated with sperm chromatin integrity among young men in Chongqing, China
This study explores whether sleep duration is associated with sperm chromatin integrity. To do so, we conducted a three-phase panel study of 796 male volunteers from colleges in Chongqing (China) from 2013 to 2015. Sleep duration was measured using a modified Munich Chronotype Questionnaire. Sperm DNA integrity was examined via Sperm Chromatin Structure Assay and Comet assay.
