Urban black-carbon radiative heating intensified by biogenic–anthropogenic interactions - Nature Geoscience
Abstract Black carbon is a global climate forcer due to its strong radiative absorption, which is highly sensitive to coating formation regulated by anthropogenic and biogenic emissions. However, how cross-regional biogenic sources modulate urban black carbon coating and radiative effects remains poorly understood. Here we integrate observations and model simulations to investigate such biogenic–anthropogenic interactions in eastern China.

Widespread surface ozone reduction triggered by dust storm disturbance on ozone production and destruction chemistry
Abstract Natural dust storms are associated with changes to atmospheric photochemical processes, including changes in surface ozone, a critical global air pollutant. Here, we quantified the change in surface ozone during dust storms for regions in China by using a synthesis of measurements and modeling approaches.

Catalysts | Free Full-Text | Synthesis of Dual Z-Scheme CuBi2O4/Bi2Sn2O7/Sn3O4 Photocatalysts with Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance for the Degradation of Tetracycline under Visible Light Irradiation
The dual Z-scheme heterojunction CuBi2O4/Bi2Sn2O7/Sn3O4(CBS) was successfully constructed through in situ growth methods, and its photocatalytic performance was evaluated via degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride under visible light. Out of all samples, CBS-2 exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity, with an apparent rate constant of 2.34, 20.16, and 44.17 times that of Bi2Sn2O7, CuBi2O4, and Sn3O4, respectively.

Construction of SnNb2O6/MgIn2S4 heterojunction photocatalysts with enhanced visible-light-driven activity for tetracycline hydrochloride degradation and Cr(VI) reduction
Construction of SnNb2O6/MgIn2S4 heterojunction photocatalysts with enhanced visible-light-driven activity for tetracycline hydrochloride degradation and Cr(VI) reduction SnNb2O6/MgIn2S4(SNO/MIS) heterojunction photocatalytic materials were fabricated via a handy in-situ growth method.
Construction of Z-Scheme Bi3TaO7/Zn0.5Cd0.5S composites with high-efficiency for levofloxacin degradation under visible light irradiation
Construction of Z-Scheme Bi3TaO7/Zn0.5Cd0.5S composites with high-efficiency for levofloxacin degradation under visible light irradiation Direct Z-scheme Bi3TaO7/Zn0.5Cd0.5S composite photocatalysts were successfully prepared via an in-situ growth hydrothermal method. The photocatalytic activities of composites were investigated by the degradation of levofloxacin under visible light. And all composites exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activities than Bi3TaO7 and Zn0.5Cd0.5S.
Constructing Ni based confinement catalysts with advanced performances toward CO2 reforming of CH4: State-of-the-art review and perspectives
Constructing Ni based confinement catalysts with advanced performances toward CO2 reforming of CH4: State-of-the-art review and perspectives Leilei Xu, Yingying Xue, Mindong Chen, Caie Wu, Ge Cheng, Ning Wang and Xun Hu Abstract In recent years, the global greenhouse effect has been received more and more attention due to the increasing emission of the greenhouse gases. The CO2 and CH4 have been widely considered as the main greenhouse gases causing the global warming and climate change.

Facilely fabricating mesoporous nanocrystalline Ce-Zr solid solutions supported CuO based catalysts with advanced low-temperature activity toward CO oxidation Leilei Xu, Yan Cui, Mindong Chen, Xinbo Lian, Caie Wu, Bo Yang, Zhichao Miao, Fagen Wang and Xun Hu Abstract A series of mesoporous nanocrystalline Ce-Zr solid solutions with different Ce/Zr ratios were successfully synthesized by evaporation-induced self-assembly strategy, which were employed as the catalytic supports of CuO based...
Thermal Stability of Particle-Phase Monoethanolamine Salts
The use of monoethanolamine (MEA, 2-hydroxyethanamine) for scrubbing of carbon dioxide from combustion flue gases may become the dominant technology for carbon capture in the near future. The widespread implementation of this technology will result in elevated emissions of MEA to the environment that may increase the loading and modify the properties of atmospheric aerosols.
