Strengthening Fe–Rh Dual-Site Synergy for Efficient Methane Conversion to Acetic Acid Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The direct oxidation of CH4 to CH3COOH represents an ideal route for natural gas valorization, but conventional multi-step processes suffer from complex separations and low efficiency. Herein, we develop an atomic-scale strategy to modulate Fe–Rh interactions within dual-site catalysts confined in ZSM-5, enabling efficient oxidative carbonylation of CH4 under mild conditions.
FeCu dual-single-atom catalyst promotes gradient H2O2 activation for enhanced methane oxidation to methanol - Nature Communications
Abstract Hydrogen peroxide is an attractive and sustainable oxidant, yet its effective application in inert alkane oxidation is limited by the inability to precisely match the distribution, concentration, and reactivity of generated oxygen species with substrate activation requirements.
Advances in the Stability of Catalysts for Electroreduction of CO2 to Formic Acid
The electroreduction of CO2 to high-value products is a promising approach for achieving carbon neutrality. Among these products, formic acid stands out as having the most potential for industrialization due to its optimal economic value in terms of consumption and output. In recent years, the Faraday efficiency of formic acid from CO2 electroreduction has reached 90~100%. However, this high selectivity cannot be maintained for extended periods under high currents to meet industrial requirements.
UV‐Light‐Induced Surface Reconstruction of Cubic Cu2O Promotes CO2 Electroreduction to C2 Products
Abstract The UV-light induced reconstruction of cubic Cu2O can efficiently catalyze the electroreduction of CO2 to C2 products due to the roughness surface structure and controllable Cu+/Cu0 ratios. Abstract Carbon dioxide electroreduction has been considered as one of the most appealing ways to reducing the CO2 emission but raising the selectivity of high-value added products like C2+ still faces great challenge.
Regular Hexagonal CuBi Nanosheets Boost Highly Efficient CO2 Reduction to HCOOH in Solid-Electrolyte Cell
Regular Hexagonal CuBi Nanosheets Boost Highly Efficient CO2 Reduction to HCOOH in Solid-Electrolyte Cell Xiaoshan Wang, Xiang Fei, Mingwang Wang, Wenhang Wang, Zhongxue Yang, Hui Ning, Yunlong Zhang, Li Wang, Xin Jin and Mingbo Wu Abstract Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CRR) to formic acid has shown great potential in Carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS).
