Goldenhar Syndrome Patient with Craniocerebral Lesion
A 2-year-old boy presented with a mass protruding from his left eye. He had epibulbar dermoids on that eye and skin lesions compatible with cutaneous dermoids (Fig). A computed tomography scan demonstrated a choroidal osteoma (left eye), hypoplastic left orbit, and a middle cranial fossa mass with low attenuation compatible with a dermoid cyst (Fig). Chest x-ray revealed scoliosis (Fig).
Infrequent Bilateral Orbital Tumors
A 44-year-old woman presented with a 1-year history of progressive, painless bilateral proptosis. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed well-circumscribed, enhancing, central masses (Fig). Right mass resection was performed via an inferior fornix incision. Left mass resection was performed via a lateral orbitotomy. Histopathology showed the right-sided mass to be rich in vascular sinuses, lined with flat endothelial cells separated by fibrous intervals (characteristic of cavernous hemangioma, Fig).
Infrequent Giant Cutaneous Cavernous Hemangioma of the Eyelid
A 55-year-old man presented with a painless, well-circumscribed, and slowly growing mass on the right upper eyelid, present for 55 years. The mass was pedicled to the skin of the right upper eyelid. The mass was dark violet, resulting in complete mechanical ptosis and visual field occlusion (Fig). Resection was performed via a cutaneous incision approach with an adjacent pedicled flap graft. The pathological diagnosis was cavernous hemangioma (Fig).
