Mimics and Diagnostic Pitfalls of Anti‐Adenylate Kinase 5 Limbic Encephalitis
1 Introduction Limbic encephalitis associated with antibodies against adenylate kinase 5 (AK5) is a rare, non-paraneoplastic form of autoimmune encephalitis and remains poorly characterized due to its rarity [1]. Reported cases, primarily from North America and Europe, suggest that anti-AK5 encephalitis typically presents with subacute anterograde amnesia, often without seizures, and may be preceded by a prodromal phase of asthenia or mood disturbances [2, 3].

Metagenomic next-generation sequencing for Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex detection: a meta-analysis
Introduction Prior to the new coronavirus pandemic, TB represented the most significant burden of human infectious disease, with roughly 10 million new cases and 1.5 million deaths per year (1). The emergence of multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis (XDR-TB) due to the long-term use of isoniazid, rifampicin, and quinolones, has increased treatment difficulties and patient harm (2).
