Cross-sectional and longitudinal analysis of prefrontal intermittent theta-burst stimulation-evoked hemodynamic responses in major depressive disorder
Abstract Prefrontal theta burst stimulation (TBS) – induced brain activation may offer insights into the therapeutic mechanisms underlying TBS. This study aimed to compare baseline TBS-induced prefrontal hemodynamic responses in individuals with major depressive disorder (MDD) and healthy controls (HCs), and to evaluate whether changes in stimulation-evoked responses are correlated with improvements in depressive symptoms following four weeks of daily TBS.

Neural correlates of fine motor grasping skills: Longitudinal insights into motor cortex activation using fNIRS
1 LIMITATIONS The primary goal of our investigation was to offer an in-depth examination of contralateral cortical activation patterns during motor learning using a multitude of tasks.
Deacetylation of chitin oligomers by Fusarium graminearum polysaccharide deacetylase suppresses plant immunity
1 INTRODUCTION Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is one of the key food crops worldwide, and in recent years, pathogenic infections have seriously undercut its global production. Fusarium head blight (FHB), caused by Fusarium graminearum, is one of the most important diseases affecting wheat and barley worldwide (Bai & Shaner, 2004; Santiago et al., 2007).
