​Previously, she was an Editorial Intern at Crain Communications' Automotive News, and the Culture Desk Editor at The State News.

Miranda studied political science prelaw, journalism and women's and gender studies at Michigan State University.

Her work has been honored by the Michigan Press Association and the Associated Collegiate Press.

Her passion lies in local reporting, connecting individuals to their surrounding community.
