Sports Media Trey Daubert / NFL, NFL Draft / November 25, 2024 The New York Jets fired their head coach and general manager midseason. So who will Woody Johnson hire to replace Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas? In a hilarious turn of events, Woody is entrusting a guy who he previously fired to run the head coach/gm search. No, that is not a joke. Instead of using the league office, Woody hired The 33rd Team to help with this process.

Joe Rogan: Burn The Boats Netflix Review
Sports Media Trey Daubert / Film & TV / November 13, 2024 I have another Netflix review for you. I was in need of a few laughs. Since Ali Wong let me down, I figured I would give the newest Joe Rogan stand up a try. Is this worth the watch or should you keep things moving the next time you’re on Netflix? Let’s have a quick chat. No need to bury the surprise. This stand up is awesome. Maybe one of my favorites I’ve ever seen. So good that I rewatched it while consuming some good stuff.
Should the Yankees pursue Christian Walker?
Sports Media Matt Hanifan / MLB / November 12, 2024 Earlier this month, New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo had his $17 million team-option declined, leaving a gaping hole in the infield for New York heading into the 2025 MLB offseason. Ali Wong: Single Lady Netflix Review
Sports Media Trey Daubert / Film & TV / November 6, 2024 Before I begin, I just want to clarify a few things. I’ve always been a fan of Ali Wong. Here is proof. I think she’s a good comic and root for her to succeed. With that said, I don’t think I can even bury the lead with this one. This stand up was trash and I can’t possibly recommend it. I get where she was trying to go with this Single Lady set but it’s horrible in every single aspect.

Joe Mazzulla Wants To Institute A Powerplay In The NBA
Sports Media Trey Daubert / NBA / October 30, 2024 Give Joe Mazzulla a lifetime contract. After he said the NBA should bring back fighting, I think that’s only fair. However, one of his proposed rule changes flew under the radar. The Celtics head coach says a powerplay should be a thing for the NBA. Just like it is for the NHL. VIA 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Zolak & Bertrand: “Basketball is one of the only sports that doesn’t have a power play,” Mazzulla said, as seen in the video player above.
Cam Robinson Acquired By Vikings
Sports Media Mitchell McHugh / NFL / October 30, 2024 Per Ian Rapoport, the Minnesota Vikings have struck a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to acquire left tackle Cam Robinson. This move makes a lot of sense for Minnesota, as their starting LT, Christian Darrisaw, had season-ending knee surgery last week. Trade: The #Vikings are adding a new left tackle, completing a trade with the #Jaguars to acquire LT Cam Robinson in exchange for draft pick compensation, per me and @TomPelissero.

Teoscar Hernandez Absolutely Adores Fenway Park
Sports Media Trey Daubert / MLB / October 18, 2024 Teoscar Hernandez really wants to play for the Red Sox. Too bad Boston cheaped out in the offseason and now he’s on the verge of potentially winning a rin in LA with the Dodgers. The Red Sox offered Hernandez two-year deal worth $28 million but the veteran outfielder ultimately inked a one-year deal with the Dodgers instead. Hernandez, 32, will be a free agent again this offseason.
Jonathan Marchessault: Predators Are A 'Fragile Team'
Sports Media Trey Daubert / NHL / October 18, 2024 It turns out the grass isn’t always greener. We talked about this very topic before the season but Jonathan Marchessault sounded totally delusional after he decided to depart Vegas. Marchessault thought he was way more important than he was and decided he needed a 5th year in the contract. Vegas wasn’t willing to oblige. Nashville did signing him to a five-year deal this offseason.
2024 College Football Best Games of the Week: Week 8
Sports Media Anthony Miranda / College Football / October 18, 2024 It is time for another week of the 2024 College Football best games of the week. Last week, the Ohio State vs Oregon game delivered in every way maybe more than the Alabama vs Georgia game. The top five ranked matchups this year have been amazing, which is great because there is a No. 1 vs No. 5 matchup in week 8. Also, there is a No. 7 vs No. 11 matchup as well as what should be some fun offensive battles.

He’s the clear number one.
Steve Kerr Alludes To Buddy Hield Being Warriors' 6th Man
Sports Media Mitchell McHugh / NBA / October 15, 2024 Buddy Hield has not yet been confirmed to be the Warriors’ 6th man, but after Sunday’s preseason contest against the Detroit Pistons, it has all but been confirmed. During the game, he played from that position and had success. Hield has shot 40 percent from three throughout his career, which is perfect for the sixth-man position. Also, with the Warrior’s current roster, it’s the role he fits the best in.
Trade Grades: Jets Land Davante Adams via Raiders
Sports Media Trey Daubert / NFL / October 15, 2024 Aaron Rodgers finally got his guy. The 2-4 New York Jets are spiraling but they did finally pull off the trade for Davante Adams. Was this a smart move by the Jets or did the Raiders win this deal? That’s why you’re here. No need for a fancy intro. Let’s hand out those trade grades! I just don’t think we can ignore the sunk cost fallacy here.
Davante Adams Traded To New York Jets
Sports Media Christopher Bagdonas / NFL / October 15, 2024 Davante Adams is finally on the move after weeks of speculation. Unsurprisingly, it is to none other than MetLife Stadium where he reconnects with Aaron Rodgers. The New York Jets are acquiring the former All-Pro receiver for a conditional third round per Ian Rapoport. After playing a reduced role this season (three games, 18 receptions, 209 yards and a touchdown), the alarm bells started ringing.

What are a few of our overreactions from Week 5? Let’s ask the team! Joe Flacco is way better than Anthony Richardson. The Colts are lying to themselves if they don’t start Flacco the rest of the season. The numbers don’t lie.

2024 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 6
Sports Media James Herrick / Fantasy Football / October 8, 2024 The fantasy football waiver wire is slightly weaker heading into Week 6 of the 2024 NFL Season. Still, several strong fantasy football waiver wire options have not been discussed.

2024 NLDS Preview: New York Mets v. Philadelphia Phillies
Sports Media Jack Sabin / MLB / October 5, 2024 Nothing quite makes for playoff baseball like an inner division rivalry with two teams that don’t like each other. That’s precisely what you get with the New York Mets set to face off against the Philadelphia Phillies. Two cities/fanbases who don’t like each other, and it should make for a great series. Now, let’s see who has the edge going into the series. The Mets were one of, if not the hottest, team going into the end of the 2024 season.

New York Islanders 2024-2025 NHL Season Preview
Sports Media Christopher Bagdonas / NHL / September 25, 2024 The New York Islanders once again find themselves in the dangerous territory of “no-man’s land” in the NHL. They are not bad enough to be full-blown tankers like we see in San Jose and Anaheim. However, they also are not nearly good enough to be a bonafide contender a la Florida or Dallas.
Brent Venables Should Be Ashamed Of Himself For Throwing Jackson Arnold Under The Bus
Sports Media Trey Daubert / College Football / September 25, 2024 If you read this week’s stock report notes, we went into detail on the Oklahoma loss to Tennessee. The Sooners got beat but it wasn’t about losing to a surging Tennessee program. It had everything to do with how Brent Venables handled it. Josh Heupel outclassed Venables in every facet of the game. Instead of Venables taking the blame, he threw Jackson Arnold under the bus and he should be ashamed of himself for doing so.
