What was your first job as a journalist?
I had a blog, which then turned into a job covering high school sports for a local, free, weekly newspaper.

Several. I use Adobe Analytics, CrowdTangle, Twitter, Facebook, Methode, Wordpress, Photoshop and more.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No newspaper at my high school, but I did write for and was an editor for my college paper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A story I did while at the Delmarva Daily Times about a Korean war veteran who was missing for more than six decades.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Write as much as you can, for as many outlets as you can, for as often as you can.
When's the best time to pitch you?
During the day, by email.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In my car, driving and listening to a podcast.
