Mo Damtew’s Biography
ሰላም! (Hello!) I’m Mo Damtew, a student journalist based in
Portland, OR with a keen interest in covering sports and
education. I currently serve as a Youth Voices reporter for
The Oregonian and a columnist for Oregon Sports News. I
am passionate about making a positive impact through
thoughtful and impactful storytelling and strive to amplify
the voices of those often overlooked by mainstream media.
