What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist is to relay, to share, and to inform. In today's character-limited world, it also means to be brief but thorough!
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I am enamored with Hootsuite, Tumblr, and Twitter.
Who do you wish followed you?
Older Republican and/or conservative congressmen! I feel they could learn a lot from a young black woman like me.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Start. Worry about the details later. They keep telling me it will all come together eventually!
