I’m a journalist, editor, and communicator with a passion for storytelling that informs, empowers, and creates real-world impact. With nearly two decades of experience in journalism and media, I’ve worked across print, digital, and broadcast platforms—covering everything from politics and governance to human rights and social issues.

Right now, I serve as the Editor-in-Chief at enewsup.com, a growing online news outlet based in Bangladesh. In this role, I lead editorial strategy, manage a team of reporters, and ensure our content reflects accuracy, integrity, and relevance. Every headline, every story we publish, is driven by a commitment to honest reporting and public accountability.

My journey into journalism began back in 2005. I started at the grassroots—chasing local stories, writing late into the night, and learning the ropes from senior reporters and editors. Since then, I’ve interviewed policymakers, activists, migrants, entrepreneurs, and everyday citizens whose stories deserve to be told. Over the years, my writing has touched on key issues like forced displacement, press freedom, migration challenges, environmental injustice, and development.

Alongside editorial work, I’ve also embraced the digital evolution of journalism. I’m experienced in integrating SEO strategies, managing CMS platforms, and using data analytics to shape our content. I’ve helped my newsroom adapt to digital-first storytelling—whether it’s through social media engagement, real-time updates, or video news content.

Beyond journalism, I’ve taken on a parallel administrative career. I currently work as an Assistant Manager (Admin) at SEBA Building Management Company, where I oversee internal operations, staff coordination, and policy documentation. This dual role in media and administration has strengthened my skills in leadership, planning, and team communication—something I bring into every professional interaction.

Most recently, on June 28, 2025, I received the Star Bangladesh Award for my special contribution to journalism and human rights, a moment that deeply affirmed the purpose behind my work.

Outside the newsroom, I actively manage the “Visa Help Center Bangladesh”, a Facebook group aimed at helping travelers and job seekers with real, up-to-date visa information. I’m also exploring content creation and freelance journalism focused on migration, advocacy, and international development.

Whether I’m editing a news piece, managing a team, or supporting a grassroots campaign, I bring empathy, curiosity, and professionalism to everything I do. I believe journalism is not just a job—it’s a responsibility. A responsibility to seek truth, to amplify unheard voices, and to hold systems accountable.

I’m currently open to collaborations, media partnerships, freelance writing, and remote roles in journalism, digital media, public communication, and nonprofit storytelling—particularly projects that center human rights, migration, or global development.
