Molly Triffin
VerifiedMolly Triffin’s Biography
Thanks for checking out my clips. I’m a freelancer based in Stowe, Vermont, where, in between snow shoe hikes with my golden retriever and 18-month-old son, I write about everything from women’s lifestyle topics to parenting to careers.
But I didn’t always live in fleece jackets and Sorel boots. For nearly a decade, I worked at Cosmopolitan magazine. As the features director, I wrote many of Cosmo’s most in-depth articles—including one piece that was a finalist for an American Society of Magazine Editors award—and authored two books. I edited dozens of print and online articles each month, oversaw all the fashion content, and managed junior editors. I also supervised special projects and events, including the award-winning Practice Safe Sun campaign to help fight skin cancer and our effort to raise awareness of college sexual assault, Cosmo Fights Campus Rape. Prior to that, I graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a double major in English and French, and later attended the Columbia Publishing Course.
