As a Mizzou guy, I’m jazzed up for the Texas Bowl and ramping up my hate for those scrubs in burnt orange and white. There’s this arrogance about Longhorn players, fans, officials, groundskeepers, parking lot attendants, and every Austin resident that is just not warranted by their performance on the field these past few seasons. So yeah, I’ll gladly admit that I take great pleasure in the downfall of this traditional blue blood program.
While Sunday’s final round at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte wasn’t all that exciting (Rory McIlroy won by seven strokes), there was a bit of post-tournament action that was particularly interesting. According to multiple sources, two drunk guys stole a golf cart from the Quail Hollow clubhouse, drove it five miles north to Selwyn Pub, parked it on the bar’s front patio, and ordered two shots before abandoning the cart and leaving the bar undetected.
