I was a freelance writer for the Day Magazine in Connecticut.

I have used a typewriter once for a poetry class I took in college.

I love Canva. It's an essential in the communications field!

Why did you become a journalist?

I've always been passionate about sharing the stories of others and bringing them to life through the beauty of written words.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Even though you might think you're at a dead end, don't give up. Keep pitching and thinking of new and unique angles.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Mornings are best time for pitches.

What's your favorite drink?

I love an iced caramel latte!
