I am looking for an investor friendly agent in Indianapolis who is willing to work with out of state investors. Have you worked with a realtor you can recommend?
1.) How difficult is it to break through in this career field? Especially with a person as young as I am. 2.) Is college a must? I know it is not required, but is it recommended? 3.) How much money can you truly make doing this? 1. It's like any other endeavor. You get out of it what you put in. There are all kinds of agents: listing agent, buyer agent, commercial, rental etc.. Try to focus on one aspect that you enjoy. Be persistent.
This question deals more with agency than investing but I figured there's enough agents on this site to get some good feedback. Would you go after a client that breached a buyer brokerage agreement and bought with another Realtor? I had a lady I was working with that was looking to basically gut her retirement account to buy her son and pregnant daughter in law a house. Kids didn't have any money, credit, or stable employment so she was helping out.
