Moshe Kahn Hasc

Moshe Kahn was born in New York City and is an abstract painter. He has been painting for more than 30 years, starting at age seven. He first attended the Art Students League of New York before finishing high school, then earned a degree in Fine Arts at the City University of New York. Despite not being well-known outside of his group of peers, his work has been recognized by fellow artists over the years.

Moshe Kahn is the founder of HASC (Hebrew Artists Social Community). Through HASC, Moshe Kahn connects artists of all types and lets them express themselves through various arts activities such as painting in nature that are designed to be totally unboring and incredibly gratifying. Participants can get a sense of accomplishment or significance from such actions, making them motivation-boosting frustrations. HASC is the exclusive community of the new York’s best abstract artists, just like him.

Moshe Kahn HASC does not care about what other people think about his art, and he is self-taught. He doesn't like to be compared to other people, and he doesn't like to be judged. He paints because he enjoys it.
