Abstract The cigarette beetle (Lasioderma serricorne) is a widely distributed pest of stored products, causing significant economic losses worldwide. Pakistan’s tobacco business suffers economically from L. serricorne, and this insect can seriously deteriorate tobacco that has been stored. The most destructive of these are the larval and adult stages. This study aims to develop a life table L. serricorne on six tobacco varieties SPT-G-28, K-339, SPT-G-227, OK-940, Gulshery and RG-17.
