Anthony Joshua should hire "Fast" Eddie Chambers to train him for the rematch
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Slyk, Sep 25, 2021. Fast Eddie knows a thing or two about speed. Speed was the difference in this bout. Despite Joshua being slower of hand and foot, less accurate, generally less dextrous, having less grit, less stamina, he is still the Superior Athlete, I am told by every commentator and media outlet. He's still just a young guy with limitless raw potential, but he needs to mix up his team.
What did you think of Fury's conditioning/stamina?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by bruce_keyes, Oct 10, 2021 at 12:34 AM. Did he look gassed to you at any time of the fight? Where the hell does he get that endurance from? unreal... also was anyone surprised how much "snap" Fury had? that snap, even in the 11th round, when he landed that cross!! Top Class Fighting Men. Dillian Whyte vs Otto Wallin - Discussion and Poll
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Vegan Beast, Sep 30, 2021. This fight is incredibly interesting. Far better than Franklin, Arreola and Martin who we thought would be Whyte's next victim. I believe it will potentially be even more dramatic than Whyte vs Povetkin. Wallin has the size advantage over Whyte and is quicker and arguably more technical boxer.
Fury's Power
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by iamtheman, Oct 9, 2021 at 10:48 PM. What kind of power does he have? Seems to me it's not so much raw speed power as it is sheer heaviness and strength. Look at how Wilder falls when he gets hit. It's like a wrecking ball hit him. So forceful his legs flew out from beneath him. There's a walloping brute force there that practically sends opponents flying. It just looks devastating.

What do you expect Fury and Wilder to weigh tomorrow?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by MrSpeaker89, Oct 7, 2021 at 12:51 PM. First fight: Wilder = 212.5 lbs Fury = 256.5 lbs Second fight: Wilder = 231 lbs Fury = 273 lbs Some people are saying they expect them both to be heavier than the second fight, but I'm not so sure. I see Wilder being around 228 lbs and Fury between 270-280 lbs. Rilz Ball don't lie! I think Fury comes in at 270-275 or so, no real change from the rematch.
Usyk vs Klitchko
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by tchaoyea, Oct 3, 2021 at 10:59 PM. Found this little gem here, wonder who wouldve won, Wladimir vs Uysk. apparently Usyk worked Wlad in wlads training camp I feel against Wlad he needs to get him out early. So he's reliant on sharp counters to hurt Wlad early on. The longer it goes, the harder it will be. Vitali I see him out boxing over 12. Usyk was better than 2015 version of Wlad.
Is Otto Wallin The Darkhorse Of the Division?
I've had Wallin picked from the second this one was announced. Love the fight, because I dislike Whyte, and Wallin has the stuff to send him packing to Palookaville before he ever gets a shot at a title. As for Dom Breazeale, guy is nothing if not tough. He's only been stopped by two destructive punchers.
Joshua/Wilder still does more $$ than Fury/Usyk
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Lesion of Doom, Sep 25, 2021 at 9:59 PM. In case anyone needed reminding that boxing is entertainment, the losers of the "semifinal" absolutely would make more money than the winners. It's not merit, it's commercial. And Joshua/Wilder is still the most commercial fight in the HW division. It's a shame they didn't fight when they were both on top, but now it's too late.
Anthony Joshua vs Oleksander Usyk - Discussion thread
I can't find one of these anywhere, so I thought I'd make one. The fight is OFFICIALLY on. Props to Joshua for not ducking. He's definitely the most respectable boxer in the HW game right now IMO. I want him to be undisputed more than anyone else. I see Usyk causing Joshua problems at times, but I think Joshua's reach advantage and physical advantages in general will be the decider.
Reminder - Clinching is illegal
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by dangerousity, Jul 29, 2021 at 1:02 PM. I don't know why boxing fans have so readily accepted clinching as part of boxing. It's not. It's tolerated by refs because they can't distinguish between an accidental one and a deliberate clinch. It's also open for abuse. Khan gets deducted a point against Peterson for it, whilst Ruiz and Horn made a career out of it. It makes fights extremely boring.
Did Fury just fake covid to push back the Wilder fight due to poor ticket sells ?

Wilder vs Fury 3 ?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by sir axeman, Jul 2, 2021 at 3:17 PM. So, I am rooting for Fury. I know this board has fans of both and i think i already know the concensus...that is that Fury is going to do a number on Wilder again. But then Wilders fans are hoping he's going to be 100% fit with no dodgy water, heavy suit, bicep injury or crooked trainer etc etc but anyway just to see the percentages i've done the poll...

Deontay Wilder: I could legally kill Tyson Fury
This content is protected "The only thing about it is, at that point in time, I have to wait until I get in the ring to really release because I can't do it on the outside, it'd defeat the purpose. "The baby's got to eat, but when I do get in the ring, this is what I love about it, I'm able to release everything I've been feeling, everything I've been thinking, and get paid to do it." strong words from the bronze bomber
Wilder: Delusion Beyond Belief
“I consider him a sore loser,’ Wilder said about Stiverne ahead of their rematch in late 2017. “I tell people all the time before I fight them, I let the fighters know, l let the fans know, don’t make excuses for my wins when I win. “They did just that. Everybody’s gonna have an excuse. The thing about it is, nobody wants to hear an excuse once you lose. “When you lose, you lose. Deal with it. “But if it’s an excuse that actually occurred, keep it to yourself and amongst your team.
