serious shooters
How many of you consider yourself to be serious shooters. My definition of serious would be striving to reach A class or AA class. We all know that it doesn't just happen, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to reach that kind of goal and yet it seems easier for some. With that said I know some D,C,B,& A shooters who are dedicated and as hard working as any. Where do you fall in line? This is one of only a few sports where you can start at 9 years old and go on until your 99 years old.
20ga for trap
#1 · I recently purchased a Beretta A400 Multi to use when I was invited to shoot at a Sporting Clays Fund Raiser. After assembling the firearm I found that it was too heavy to use given my shoulder and back damage. I got my Wife's Benelli out to see if it were any better and it wasn't. So I got my Franchi Veloce out and found that the Franchi was tolerable to hold. Unfortunately due to a heart event I ended up in the hospital for a week and missed the shoot.

Trap Shooting Book Reviews
These are simply my opinions. I purchased all of these with my own money in an attempt to learn from other people's experiences in trap shooting. I'm also amassing a collection of all of the trapshooting DVD's and will post a review summary once I make it through them. James Russell Trapshooting Secrets and The Trapshooter's Bible ($35 each) These books were tough to read.
ERAD voice releases
We recently installed three new trap houses and were trying to decide between corded or cordless Canterbury releases. I has just returned from Crooks Gun Club in Sioux Falls where they used ERADS. We checked into them and could purchase them for near the same price as Canterburys. We installed an ERAD on one field and it works great. We deal with a lot of wind here in north central North Dakota, today was 20-25 mph and it worked flawlessly.
