Natasha questions the norm and seeks the uncovered. She has written stories since she could hold a pencil, and she's a firm believer that news and stories will be told whether or not print is still in existence. Natasha looks for the big story even in little places such as Norfolk, Nebraska, where she had her first internship at the Norfolk Daily News. Natasha wrote a four-part series about human trafficking and its effects on the town, Nebraska, the U.S. and the world. Natasha also covered tornadoes that tore through northeast Nebraska and destroyed an entire town. Now, at the Omaha World-Herald, Natasha has made the front page half a dozen times. Before starting at the World-Herald, she spent three weeks on a poverty reporting trip in Nicaragua. She becomes a vital part of anything and everything in which she involves herself. She is a talented and experienced designer, writer, editor and reporter. As a freshman, she became an associate sports editor at the Daily Nebraskan, produced her own morning talk show and traveled to Boston to represent the university in front of thousands of high school students. In her second year at college, she has become the senior sports editor of the Daily Nebraskan and vice president of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's chapter of the American Copy Editor's Society. Natasha is coachable and has a second-to-none work ethic. She loves all things cheesy such as Nicholas Sparks and John Green, and she is a Lord of the Rings and Star Wars nerd.
