Interview

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, my mom used one in college, and she let me try it out as a kid. People use desktops and laptops now, though.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Being a journalist means getting as close to the unbiased truth as humanly possible.

What's your favorite social network?

It depends on my mood. Twitter is real-time, so if I'm looking for quick information, I use that. Facebook and Instagram are more leisurely.

Why did you become a journalist?

I became a journalist to make a difference to people through the spread of information, whether that be written, visual or digital.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I worked for the nationally renowned Lakota East Spark as the editor-in-chief.
