Nabil Tahir started his journalism at a local news channel here in Karachi under the capacity of Associate Producer for two prime-time Talk Shows in 2013. After working for a year, he joined The Express Tribune newspaper on City Desk.
He worked on City Desk for four months before switching to Sports Desk as a Reporter. During his sports reporting, he covered many national and international tournaments that majorly includes International cricket series, Pakistan Super League, and all other national level competitions of other sports. He was responsible for covering 14 beats of sports.
He then after working for around 4.5 years for The Express Tribune, he decided to do freelance for many organizations in November 2018.
He has worked with some top Journalists of Karachi that includes, Kamal Siddiqui (former Editor The Express Tribune, now Director of IBA-CEJ), Faisal Aziz (Former Bureau Chief Geo News, now at Bol News, Canada-based Journalist Zulfiqar Ali, and others.
Currently, he works as a freelance journalist for many national and international digital/print news organizations. He has also joined one of the top Public Relation firm of Pakistan, ‘Syntax Communications’ as an Account Manager. He now looks after the major clients and content for Syntax Communications.
He completed his Masters in Mass Communications from the University of Karachi in 2014 and also gives guest lectures to the Journalism Students.
