Nadine Silva is an award-winning multimedia journalist and editor with experience across television, radio, and online platforms.
She began her career as a cadet at SBS News, reporting on national and international issues affecting Australia’s multicultural communities, and later covered stories impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples at NITV News.
In current affairs, Nadine produced the Dateline investigation COVID-19: Fashion’s Great Unravelling, which explored the impact of the pandemic on garment workers in Bangladesh. The documentary won the 2021 Association for International Broadcasting award in the Politics and Business category. Nadine also produced a feature documentary for The Feed on modern-day matchmaking and contributed research and interviews to Insight’s Favourite Child episode.
Nadine later worked at ABC Darwin, covering news across the Northern Territory, before joining Indian Link as Assistant Editor, producing and overseeing content for Australia’s Indian diaspora.
