Why did you become a journalist?

I fell into journalism as a history columnist. I love being able to articulate others' stories an connect an audience with a subject.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Overall, I am most proud of my work on the dirigible ROMA disaster.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Expectation manage, never stop being curious, use conjunctions, and make sure to carve out time for work/life balance.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

In my house working on a multitude of art projects or spending time with my family
