There's something I have always found amusing about working in the fact-checking space. On our reels and posts, people often question our methodology, doubt our analysis, or accuse us of bias. Yet, the same people rarely pause before believing the fake news that brought them to our fact-checks in the first place. It is ironic, but it also makes me reflect: What is the real importance of fact-checks in today's world? Because let's face it, fake news is everywhere.
