Nardia Plumridge

Nardia Plumridge is an award-winning journalist, author and editor who regularly contributes to print and online publications in the UK, US and Australia with her work featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Australian, Time Out, Lonely Planet and Forbes.

With a formal background in journalism from the University of London, her writing career began at Bauer Media, London, working on their entertainment titles including Q, MOJO, and Empire. Music and film are still a passion, however, Nardia’s curious nature and wanderlust find her focusing on travel and lifestyle features.

While living in Italy, Nardia launched Lost in Florence (www.lostinflorence.it) showcasing the 'chic, boutique, and unique' venues in the Italian Renaissance capital. This popular and award-nominated website has been featured in the Lonely Planet Guides, The Florentine, and Forbes, and was published as a book, Lost in Florence: An insider's guide to the best places to eat, drink and explore, by Hardie Grant in 2019, with an Italian version released via Giunti Editore in 2020. In January 2021, it won Guide of the Year at the Travel Media Awards in London.

Nardia is currently the digital editor for Signature Media working across Vacations & Travel, Signature Luxury Travel & Style and Holiday with Kids.

She is also the Managing Editor of Lost in Fremantle (www.lostinfremantle.com.au) showcasing venues in the famed port town in Western Australia.
