What was your first job as a journalist?

Editorial assistant at Bauer Media in London.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To report and share information to the masses is incredibly thrilling. Every day is different which I love.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

With short and succinct details via email. Make sure the brief meets my passions and past professional writing outputs.

Why did you become a journalist?

I have an inquisitive nature and love exploring so it suits my passions and personality. I like to learn and to tell other people's stories.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Intern. Offer to work in an office to shadow the experts and really learn from the best.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Anytime! If the pitch is good!

What's your favorite drink?

Green smoothie by day, Dirty Martini come night fall.
