New Prime Minister Andy Burnham visited Derby's rail manufacturer Alstom on Tuesday to launch changes to education for young people. Mr Burnham was joined on his visit to the Litchurch Lane factory site by members of his new Cabinet - Secretary of State Secretary for Work and Pensions, Pat McFadden, and Education Secretary Lucy Powell. A statement regarding our story on the Headstocks pub
Many of you will have seen a story on our website on Thursday (July 16) about a fight at a pub in Bulwell The story stated that a fight had started in the Headstocks pub, on Cinderhill Road, spilling out to the road nearby on Wednesday night. An electric motorbike was then driven at one of the people involved in the fight. Before writing the story, we asked Nottinghamshire Police for a statement on the matter. They replied indicating the fight had started in the pub.

You may have heard of it for less favourable reasons due to high-profile disputes with the island's reclusive billionaire neighbours, the Barclay brothers. The brothers' £60m mock Gothic mansion can be seen as you arrive on the island by boat, looming large on the craggy outcrop of Brecqhou just to the side of Sark.
