Natasha Loder is The Economist's health policy editor. She is based in London. She covers the intersection between medicine, business, and society. She is widely sought as a commentator, speaker, and moderator.
Between 2011 and 2014 she worked as a foreign correspondent in Chicago, covering the Midwest, American education, and agriculture.
She has worked at the paper since 2000, spending a decade on the science desk. Here she covered a wide range of subjects in science, technology, medicine and the environment, including the rise of the private space industry.
