Nathalie Bertrams is a documentary photographer, investigative journalist and a National Geographic Explorer. She focuses on environmental crime, biodiversity loss and the human impact of climate change and extractive industries. Her in-depth stories and multimedia work are published in Süddeutsche Zeitung, The Guardian, El País, Al Jazeera and New Lines Magazine, among others. She directs documentaries for Arte/ZDF and has received numerous grants and awards for her reporting. Her photography is exhibited worldwide.
