Nathan Brooker’s Biography

I've been a journalist since finishing a master's in Modernist Literature at the University of Cambridge in 2010. After a brief stint as an English teacher in China and working as a researcher for the BBC (you can see my arm and the right side of my face in the Bill Nighy film Page 8) I joined the FT as an intern in February 2011.
I have been there ever since; first as a freelancer and then, since August, as a commissioning editor for FT Weekend. I mostly commission stories on international property markets.
