Electrochemical Detection of Aflatoxin B1; an Aptasensor prepared using graphene oxide and gold nanowires
Electrochemical Detection of Aflatoxin B1; an Aptasensor prepared using graphene oxide and gold nanowires An electrochemical aptasensor was developed for detection of aflatoxin B1 using nanocomposite of graphene oxide and gold nanowires. The aptasensor mechanism was based on difference in differential pulse voltammetry peak current upon detachment of aptamer from electrode surface when the toxin is present.
Development of a DNA biosensor for detection of phenylketonuria based on screen-printed gold electrode and hematoxylin
Phenylketonuria (PKU), which is a deficiency of an important metabolic enzyme, is caused by several identified point mutations in populations around the world. Several methods have been developed for detection of DNA mutations so far, including biosensors, especially electrochemical biosensors.
Development of an electrochemical nanosensor for the determination of gallic acid in food
In the present work, a silver nanoparticles/delphinidin modified glassy carbon electrode (AgNPs/Delph/GCE) was fabricated as a highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for gallic acid (GA) determination. Cyclic voltammetry experiments indicated a higher sensitivity and better selectivity for gallic acid when using the AgNPs/Delph/GCE electrode as compared with the bare GCE surface, which were attributed to AgNPs and delphinidin, respectively.
