On Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2:30 p.m. at Fortuna City Hall at the regular monthly public meeting of the Rohner Community Recreation and Park District a discussion about a community pool is going to be on the agenda. The new McLean Foundation Community Center currently under construction has property for us to use for a community pool. There are grant opportunities available to finance a community pool. The closest public pool is in Arcata, more than 25 miles from Fortuna.
