Setting the Stage Sitting at 299 career wins, Shula was just one shy of joining Chicago Bears’ legend George Halas in the 300 club on Sept. 22, 1991.

The Buccaneers are led by the ageless wonder in 43-year-old quarterback Tom Brady.
NFL Playoffs: Getting to Know the No. 1 Seeds
Photo courtesy of Green Bay Packers In order to reach the Super Bowl this season, teams will have to go through the teams that played in the very first Super Bowl. With the new 14-team playoff format in the NFL, only one team in each conference receives a first-round bye. Here’s a look at each of them: Kansas City Chiefs For the second straight year, Kansas City will go through the playoffs without having to leave the friendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium.

With four seconds left in the fourth quarter, Kyle Allen handed the ball off to Christian McCaffrey, who was stopped inches short of the goalline. Miami is 4-3 all-time at Lambeau Field. One of the wilder contests between the teams in Green Bay took place on this day 35 years ago. The Packers overcame a 17-point deficit, but a pair of late touchdown passes by Dan Marino lifted Miami to a 34-24 win.
35-Year Phiniversary: Marino Leads Dolphins Past Undefeated Bears on MNF, 38-24
Photo source unknown Ask a lot of football fans who the greatest defense of all-time is and many will still say the 1985 Chicago Bears. Under coordinator Buddy Ryan and head coach Mike Ditka, the Bears held opponents to just 12.4 points per game and pitched four shutouts en route to their only Super Bowl victory. That season, the Bears won 18 of the 19 games they played. The exception? A 38-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins on a warm Monday night in South Florida. It happened on this day 35 years ago.

Their biggest comeback of the year came on this day 20 years ago as they rallied from 17 points down to defeat the Green Bay Packers, 28-20.
Envisioning The Dream Moment for Green Bay's Rookie Backfield in 2020
Edit by Mac Mayhew It’s Jan. 17, 2021. The Green Bay Packers are leading the visiting Minnesota Vikings 24-21 with 1:47 left in the fourth quarter. Aaron Jones has already rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, and added a receiving touchdown on top of that. But now, it’s A.J. Dillon time. The rookie running back out of Boston College has been one of the best change-of-pace backs in the league this season. But that was just a warm-up. He was drafted for moments like this.
Love in the Heir in Green Bay

When the trade was announced before the pick was submitted, Packers fans all over the country were 100 percent sure that the move signaled a brand new wide receiver for All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers was about to come off the board.
