Once, maybe twice. My grandmother had one. I remember being fascinated by it as a kid.

The biggest shift is speed. News used to move through editors, fact-checkers, and producers before it reached anyone.

I'd have to go with Will McAvoy from The Newsroom.

LinkedIn. I know that's the boring answer. But I'm a consultant, so my work depends on those relationships.

Business owners who are in the middle of figuring out their next chapter. Whether that's scaling, stepping back, or rethinking the business.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Talk to people who aren't already being covered. Some of the most important work is happening in local communities.

Coffee.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Outside. That's not a coincidence I spent years building an organization around the idea that parks are the most accessible public resource.
