Nick Fulton is a music and culture writer based in New York City. His reviews, artist profiles and essays have been published by i-D, Billboard, Grammy.com, The FADER, Garage Magazine, Vice, Bandcamp, Document Journal, Uproxx, V Magazine, Pitchfork, Noisey, FLOOD Magazine, Impose, Cuepoint, Plastik Magazine, CMJ, and a number of now-defunct online and print publications, including Real Groove, Groove Guide, Spook and NO. Magazine. His creative writing has been published in The Ghost City Review and on Tunnel Vision. He also writes branded content for Yes Plz Weekly, writes artist biographies and is a skilled copywriter. He has interviewed numerous Grammy winners and nominees, including Lenny Kravitz, Michael Stipe (of R.E.M), Incubus, Jónsi (of Sigur Rós), Gallant, St. Vincent and starRo, as well as Academy Award and BAFTA nominated artist Micachu and MBE recipient Anna Meredith. In 2019 he was one of only two New Zealand music critics to contribute to the BBC's list of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time.
