Letter: Gov Burgum made right choice for open Public Service Commission position
I was so pleased when Gov. Burgum appointed Sherri Haugen Hoffart to the North Dakota Public Service Commission on Feb. 11th. As one of your former public service commissioners, I know how important this position is in state government. Haugen Hoffart has excellent qualifications for the PSC, including experience serving in state government and nonprofit positions. She also comes to the PSC with an understanding of electricity markets, due to serving as board chair of Capital Electric Cooperative.

Why is Officer Kim Potter going to prison for a mistake, and Alec Baldwin is still free for a mistake? Doesn’t seem fair. Doug Buehre lives in West Fargo. Letter: Rush Limbaugh's toxic legacy
In regard to Mike Rachow’s “ Tribute to a King ” opinion, I will agree that Rush Limbaugh had a very successful career in talk radio. He was an excellent communicator who shaped and reinforced the views of his conservative listeners in a way that was entertaining and empathetic. His followers enjoyed the fact that someone believed and said out loud the lies, conspiracy theories, misogynism and racism that they couldn’t find in the mainstream news.

Thank you, Hillary, for highlighting the inadequacy of Chloe Kramer’s recent letter to the editor which claims to provide “support” for pregnant people. Anyone facing an unintended pregnancy deserves a safe space that is free from bias to explore all options, not an underwhelming website purposefully designed to steer its readers away from abortion. A simple search shows that over 60% of abortion patients already have children.
