Analysis of efficacy and safety of transarterial embolization sequential microwave ablation for hepatic hemangioma
Abstract Purpose To evaluate the efficacy and safety of transarterial embolization (TAE) sequential microwave ablation (MWA) for hepatic hemangioma (HH). Methods This single-center retrospective study included 122 patients with 134 HHs treated from 2013 to 2024. TAE was followed by CT-guided MWA after 3–14 days. Technical efficacy was defined as ≥50% HH volume reduction at 6 months post-ablation. Hemoglobinuria within 24 h after MWA was analyzed as a safety outcome.
Machine Learning‐Based Model for Predicting Recurrence‐Free Survival After Interventional Therapy in Malnourished Hepatocellular Carcinoma Patients
1 Introduction Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide, with its incidence and mortality rates continuing to rise in recent years. HCC is the sixth most common cancer globally and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths [1].

Cloning, characterization, and evolutionary patterns of KCNQ4 genes in anurans
1 INTRODUCTION Anurans (frogs and toads) are one of the most diverse groups of vertebrates (Fei et al., 2009; Frost, 2019). Their transition from water to land and subsequent adaptations (e.g., emergence of lungs, four limbs, and eardrum) to a wide variety of habitats, make anurans evolutionarily significant and remarkable (Fei et al., 2009). Most notably, their hearing system underwent many important morphological and functional adaptations different from fish (Webster et al., 1992).
