Stellate multiform amelanotic choroidopathy (SMACH), previously termed “serous maculopathy due to a specific choroidopathy”, is a rare choroidal disorder first described by Van Dijk and Boon in 2021 [1]. SMACH is characterised by a unilateral choroidal lesion with a distinctive stellate or dendriform configuration, accompanied by hyperreflective fibrous-like changes within the inner choroid and variable alterations in the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) [2].
