A Highly Sensitive Fluorescent Probe for the Detection of Zn2+ and Water as Well as Application in Alcoholic Beverages - Journal of Fluorescence
Abstract A multi-function fluorescent probe HT was synthesized from 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde and 6-methoxy-2-naphthaldehyde. HT demonstrated a remarkable turn on response to detect Zn2+ in ethanol solution with strong anti-interference ability. Additionally, HT exhibited exceptional proficiency in discerning minute traces of water present in conventional organic solvents. The detection limit for Zn2+ was 1.88 × 10− 7 mol·L− 1, with a coordination ratio of 2:1 between HT and Zn2+.

It was found that a newly synthesized bis-phenanthroimidazole (PI) compound could show white-light emission based on acid or base induction through multiple non-covalent interactions.
An Imidazo[1, 2-a]Pyridine Based Fluorescent Probe for the Continuous “on-off-on” Detection of Fe3+ and F− - Journal of Fluorescence
Abstract An “on-off-on” fluorescent probe LK was synthesized from 2-benzoylpyridine and o-vanillin, which could sequentially detect Fe3+ and F− in DMSO/H2O solutions (v/v = 1/1, HEPES buffer, 1.0 mM, pH 7.0) with large Stokes shift (178 nm). LK exhibited not only high selectivity and sensitivity towards Fe3+ and F−, but also strong anti-interference ability to other ions. LK was coordinated with Fe3+ at a ratio of 2:1, with a binding constant (Ka) of 1.3 × 104 M− 1.

Abstract This paper deals with the problem of limit cycles for the whirling pendulum equation ẋ = y, ẏ = sin x(cos x − r) under piecewise smooth perturbations of polynomials of cos x, sin x and y of degree n with the switching line x = 0. The upper bounds of the number of limit cycles in both the oscillatory and the rotary regions are obtained using the Picard-Fuchs equations, which the generating functions of the associated first order Melnikov functions satisfy.

Introduction Morphemes are the smallest meaningful units of language which determine how well novel and complex words are learned (Jackson and Zé Amvela, 2021). Morphological knowledge has been confirmed to contribute to different aspects of literacy development such as vocabulary growth (e.g., Anglin, 1993; Carlisle and Fleming, 2003; Nagy et al., 2006).
