Nisha Bhandari’s Biography

At a core I prefer calling myself a story teller through visuals. Pictures have always been something i learn a lot from. At early times going through photos on social issues published in different platform made me wonder about its importance and values. I could imagine the whole scenario through pictures on any topics published. I was pulled into photography as i learned pictures speak thousand words, which is true.

I started Multimedia journalism 7 years back and have grown to learn more and more. There are thousands of stories around us, some explored and most unexplored. I am trying to explore the stories and present through my eyes. I am currently working at nepali online media platform Setopati Sanchar where my works and stories are spaced. I work with Agence France Presse and BBC Nepali on retainer basis.
